Effective date: July 22, 2026. QuickLift is operated by Joshua Brügge.
1. Overview
QLFT - QuickLift (“QuickLift”) is a workout-tracking app for planning training, logging workouts, and reviewing progress. Your workout data is stored on your device by default. QuickLift does not operate an account service or developer-controlled cloud database for your private training data.
2. Data You Create
Depending on the features you use, QuickLift may store the following on your device:
- Profile preferences, training goals, plans, routines, and exercise settings
- Workout history, sets, repetitions, weights, duration, distance, notes, and set feedback
- Body measurements and progress information you enter
- Exercise reference photos you choose or capture
- App settings, reminders, and locally calculated training insights
This information is used to provide the features you request and is not sold or used for advertising.
3. Apple Health and Apple Watch
Apple Health integration is optional. With your permission, QuickLift can read your latest bodyweight and write completed workouts and bodyweight entries to Apple Health. The Apple Watch app can exchange active-workout information with the iPhone app and can record workout metrics you authorize, such as heart rate, distance, and energy.
QuickLift does not use HealthKit data for advertising, data brokerage, or marketing. You can change Health permissions at any time in Apple Health or System Settings.
4. iCloud Backup
If you enable iCloud backup, QuickLift stores a backup in Apple-managed iCloud storage associated with your Apple Account. The operator does not run a separate cloud service for these backups. Availability, retention, and security of iCloud are also governed by Apple’s terms and privacy policy.
5. Photos, Imports, Exports, and Sharing
- Camera and photo-library access is requested only when you choose an exercise reference photo.
- Files you import are processed for the import action you select.
- Exports, backup files, and workout share cards are created only when you request them.
- Once you export or share a file, the destination you choose controls that copy.
6. Subscriptions
Purchases and subscription status are processed by Apple through StoreKit. QuickLift receives verified entitlement information needed to unlock features, but does not receive your full payment-card details. Apple’s privacy policy applies to App Store purchases.
7. Notifications and Live Activities
If enabled, QuickLift uses local notifications, alarms, widgets, and Live Activities for workout status, rest timers, and reminders. These features can be disabled in QuickLift or System Settings.
8. Support Communications
If you email support, the operator receives the address, message, and attachments you choose to send. Support messages are used only to respond, investigate issues, protect the app, and meet legal obligations. Do not include sensitive Health data unless it is necessary for your request.
9. Analytics and Third Parties
QuickLift does not include third-party advertising or behavioral-analytics SDKs. The public website does not use analytics cookies or third-party web fonts. Apple may provide aggregated App Store diagnostics or crash information according to your device and App Store privacy settings.
10. Retention and Deletion
On-device data remains until you delete it in QuickLift, reset the app’s data, or remove the app and its data. Exported files remain wherever you saved them. iCloud backups may remain in your Apple Account until removed through QuickLift or the applicable iCloud controls. Support correspondence is retained only as long as reasonably necessary for support, security, and legal purposes.
11. Children
QuickLift is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has sent personal information to support, contact the operator so it can be removed.
12. Your Rights and Changes
Depending on your location, you may have rights concerning personal information contained in support communications. Because private workout data is stored locally or in your own iCloud storage, you normally control it directly in the app and Apple settings. Material policy changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
